Yes, You can easily get truck-specific routing when entering in your truck details including your truck dimensions, weight, load and number of trailers.
Hammer is available on Android and iOS tablets and mobile devices. It can be found in the Google Play Store and on the Apple App Store. Simply search for Hammer Truck GPS in your app store, tap Install (Android) or Get (iOS), and open the app once the download is complete.
Hammer requires a device with active cellular service and GPS capability.
We cannot guarantee functionality when using a hotspot connection. For the best experience, we recommend using a device with its own active cellular service.
You can start guidance by entering your destination through the New Route option or by searching for a location and selecting Navigate.
Access the Menu Bar, then go to Routing to select your avoidance preferences.
Go to Menu Bar, then Truck Presets, and select the applicable Hazardous Materials for your load.
Go to Menu Bar, then Routing. Switch the toggle next to Avoid Toll Roads to orange to enable toll avoidance.
Offline maps allows you to calculate a route and navigate without data as long as you have the associated map(s) downloaded.
Go to Menu Bar, then Offline Map. Choose to download all maps, a country, or a selected State/Province.
This feature automatically downloads your current location plus a specified radius to maintain routing during connectivity loss.
Go to Menu Bar, then Display. Select your preferred color scheme: Light, Dark, or System Default.
When speed limit alerts are on you will receive a sound notification when you are at the speed limit or over by 5 mph.
Go to Menu Bar, then Sound, then Voices. Choose from Male or Female and English or Spanish options.
Go to Menu Bar, then Sound. Voice Instruction options include: On, Alerts, or Off.
